May 30 – June 2 Guest Bass Fishing tournament.
Ron Fredette’s and Frank Cornine’s 20.75″ – 5.31 pound largemouth bass and Ryan Giglio’s 19.0 inch smallmouth bass topped the measuring stick to take home the 24th Whisperwood Bass Tournament championships. Ron, Frank and Ryan are all multiple Whisperwood Bass Champions.

Whisperwood’s 24th Guest Bass Fishing tournament had varied weather conditions with a tough spring bite, however, the 16 registered Whisperwood anglers still managed some terrific catches and as usual it took a couple of big bass to win the coveted championships.

Winning largemouth Bass (2) – 20.75 inches – 5.31 pounds

Frank Cornine caught his personal best Largemouth Bass (end of day) last day of the tournament – a 20.75 inch beauty to tie Ron Fredette’s bass for co-winners of the largemouth bass division championship – once again a last day comeback made this another exciting finish that wasn’t determined until the final day. Both Ron and Frank are now multiple winners of the Whisperwood guest bass tournament.

Ryan Giglio recorded his 4th Whisperwood Fishing Tournament win with a 19.0″ Smallmouth bass. Ryan and his Dad Jim are one of our many outstanding Father/Son fishing duos at Whisperwood and continue to contend in any of our tournaments they participate.
