Winning largemouth Bass – 22.0″ – 6.5 pounder
Brandon Kohler’s 22.0 inch, 6.5 pound largemouth was the Big Bass of the tournament and on his next cast caught a 17.5 inch smallmouth bass to win the smallmouth bass division as well. Brandon had plenty of competition from multiple winners Adam(3) & Ned Shacket(4) and Whisperwood’s Mike(7) along with many other Whisperwood anglers.
The Whisperwood 25th Bass Tournament had an excellent week of weather with a mix of blue & overcast skies and comfortable temperatures with just one late afternoon rain storm and the Whisperwood anglers responded with plenty of fish catching.
Ned and Adam Shackett & Bob and Brandon Kohler father and son teams continued their outstanding fish catching ways and two more father son teams participated as well.
As we head into September and another school year we wish all our Whisperwood guests a healthy and successful year and look forward to seeing everyone again for the 2020 season.
Remember, Whisperwood is open until September 22, so if you are looking for a relaxing few days away, consider us – give Cameron or Renee a call for availability.
Congratulations to our division winner:
Brandon Kohler – Largemouth bass champion
Brandon Kohler – Smallmouth bass champion
