Winning largemouth Bass – 22.5 inches – 7 pounds
Steve Voisinet’s (1st win) 22.5 inch bass was the Big Bass of the tournament and Brandon Kohler’s (7th win) 18.75 inch 3.5 pound smallmouth bass were the winning catches for the Whisperwood’s 30th Guest Bass fishing Tournament. With his first win, Steve now joins a distinguished list of outstanding Whisperwood Anglers and is eligible for our next Champions Tournament. The Whisperwood 30th Bass Tournament had beautiful weather and as usual our anglers delivered catching some big Maine bass.
There were big bass caught in the 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22 inch category but Steve’s 22.5 inch beauty was biggest of all. The tail to Steve’s big bass was clearly shortened from the spawn and with a normal tail was easily a 23 inch fish – now that’s a big bass!
